Tioga County Flood Recovery Assistance:

Please Note: If you suffered damage because of Tropical Storm Debby, you are a resident of Tioga County, PA, and you are still working to recover from damage the flood caused, you may be eligible for additional assistance. Develop Tioga is continuing to work with those impacted by the flooding and wants to ensure that anybody still in need of assistance is considered for help.

Assistance is available with a variety of items including working through FEMA appeals, LIHEAP applications, local grant funds, and disaster recovery volunteer groups planning to return to Tioga County this Spring and Summer to assist with repairs and rebuilds. Efforts will continue to help identify additional resources that may become available to assist you with flood recovery efforts.

Please Note: If you filled out an application with Develop Tioga for flood assistance previously, you do not need to complete another application. We are continuing to track your needs. Develop Tioga will follow-up with you for additional information.

Cleaning After a Disaster

The Tioga County Commissioners have designated the Tioga County Partnership for Community Health as the 501c3 organization to accept monetary donations to assist with flood relief efforts.

Tioga County Flood Relief Donations:

If you disagree with FEMA’s decision, you may appeal. It must be submitted within 60 days of the date of the decision letter.

If you have questions regarding the letter you received or how to file an appeal, call the FEMA Helpline at 800-621-3362. If you use video relay service (VRS), captioned telephone service or others, give FEMA your number for that service.
